So I'm in the process of freshening everything up on my 09 rmz 450. I'm replacing the clutch cable obviously but I am looking for a little bit softer clutch pull than oem. Not really interested in a full clutch basket and everything cause I'm replacing a bunch of other stuff also and don't want to spend an absolute fortune.
Any suggestions?

Ok, you can go to a hydraulic clutch , which will cost a good bit or you can look into extending the clutch arm at the case.
There are bolt on extenders available on line.

I have done a search on line and I don't see one for your bike. I see them for the CRF's and the YZF's, but not your's.
You can pull the arm out , cut it and add about 1/4" to it by welding and see if that works.
Moose racing may still have clutch levers for the handlebars with additional leverage, but I have not looked.
You can go to thumper talk and do a search there as it has been reviewed several times.
You could always spend the money and get a Rekluse EXP 3.0 for your ride. Then all you would need to do is ride and not even use the clutch lever.

we used to use the clutch lever for the wr250 Yamaha, it had a different easier pull than the regular stock levers, it was black instead of the standard aluminum
