YZ 250 2002

I put my Cr 125 2003 out for sale, I got a guy wanting to trade it for an 2002 YZ 250.
Does anyone here know any known problems with it?

My friend has a YZ 125 2002 which has had some problems with the exhaustports and such, anything else?

Owed one. Thought it didn't turn very well. Aparently they stiffened the frames for 02.
Other than that, bulletproof. It's a YZ250. Enough said.

I owned one of those; awesome bike. The only reason you won't like it is if you get annoyed by things that work really well, go really fast, or are ridiculously reliable.
Obviously, check the compression, fork seals, etc. It is a 10-year old bike, after all.

Had one to, wish I wouldn't have sold it. I have had a 2000, 2002, 2005, & 2006 yz250 they all were bomb proof, NOTHING went wrong with any of them. IMO these were/are the best 2 stroke motors ever built. The RM250 2005+ was good too, but lacked a little of the YZ's bottom end.

Still own one......made it a 265 and upgrades to 06 suspension !!!
