Can you just change the OEM spring or do i have to buy R&D clamshell as well ?

The R&D clam and spring works well, VHM and HCR have a version with a screw adjuster that is cheeper and adjustable.

In his class we not allowed to modify anything except pipe and silencer.

My idea was to keep the standard housing and just change to a progressive spring.

Will that work ?
