How in the hell does a guy remove the white chain lube that is all over a brand new chain? I bought a gold chain to look gold, not white.

Mystery gas. Great for filters and chains.

Pro circuit mechanics say they put the new chain in parts cleaner to get it really gold. But keep in mind they replace them each race.

WD-40 works as well.

Ride your bike. It will come off, and you will wish it was still there. It's the best lube the chain will ever get from that point on.

Use WD40 on a rag to remove the factory grease from the exterior of the chain.
