I just fried the clutch on my '13 KTM450sxf and wondering if any of you guys have brands you recommend. I have tried Tusk before and worked well on my RMZ but terrible in my YZF.
This is going to sound like blasphemy as I was a die-hard "only OEM" guy for many many years too.
But I was in a pinch several years ago and tossed a TUSK clutch in my 450 from RockymountainMC. It worked great and I never had any trouble. Since then I've used them in several other bikes as well, ranging from 125's to 450's.
I've paid 3 times the cost of a Tusk for OEM in Jake's 125's it didn't make a difference, about 6-8 hours on average. Found a guy on ebay that has a plain label setup with steel plates for $47 for springs and everything. About every 25 hours or so I'll buy ProX hub and pressure plate cheap about $35 each this does give it a better feel and he doesn't have to adjust the clutch as much during a race or normal hard riding.
Cheaper ones never work for me.

The Yamaha OEM kit is cheaper than most of the aftermarket ones anyways. Not sure what KTM's pricing is like
