Amazingly, the two stroke is king for enduro and hare and hounds over here at club level.
Probably 75% + of the 183 bike field at the event I raced Sunday were smokers.
We're having a real 2T resurgence outside of MX here.
There was even an immaculate '89? KX250 in the field too along with my CR125.
Last Wednesday at evening mx practice there was a '94 CR250 too, which was nice to see.
Seems there are more and more '90's restos starting to appear too. Must be people re-living their teenage years like me.
Never had so many people want to come and sit on my bike in the pits.

I don't want to clean off the dust or boot marks, and I'm not even upset about the wear to my fresh paint on my clutch cover.
I've bonded with it again, and it's wearing it's marks with pride.
The old girl's alive again.
Choose a day where you won't get them caked in crap and ruin all the hard work you've put in, and give them a good wringing out.
Even if it's just a flat field, they deserve a run.
Start of main event at à local Swedish race about à month ago.
Im racing my CR250-90 #163 against modern 450 four strokes. Finished 11th in this moto, 40guys on the grid. 200 contenders totaly.
The Shop
I had a bad day out as far as results were concerned. 87th out of 183.
I did have a 20 minute pit stop, as the clutch arm popped out. The new (OE Honda) return spring was Mis-shaped and was exerting a side thrust pulling the arm toward the stator.
I had raced the previous 45 minutes with nothing on the end of the clutch lever too.
Otherwise I reckon a top 25 finish would've been on the cards.
The modern front end takes 20 years off the way it rides.
Some good riding helps too.
Well done.
