Anyone remember Jeff Blix?

Jeff Blix - one of the coolest guys you would ever want to meet.

Jeff and I bang bars at the OTHG races all the time.

We were planning on racing the 6 hour GP at Glen Helen together tommorow, but that fell through.

Jeff races all the time and now has a 1 year old daughter.

From when we raced Racetown. He won th 45 Expert class.

Didn't Jeff ride for Cycle Products West back in the day?..

Lenny - do not know about Cycle Products West, Bultaco and Al Baker R&D he did ride for. I'll ask him this weekend about that.

Don't forget, he may not remember me but I know him, he should be in his late 40's by now or about the same age as me, ask him did he ever ride around the Baldwin Hills area in the early '70's...

Jeff Blix now rides the 50 class...(with the oldtimers)

Yep we were all teenagers back then, I had just gotten into MX, and Jeff would race locally, and we would make our weekly runs to the nearest shops, for mags sticker's my friends knew him, and told me who he was, from there we'd see him at some night races at CPW, and on/in mag covers, and I remember we were all around the same age...Thanks man..

saddens me inside to see mike brown at the races sometimes...

Is this the same Dave Eropkin who went to Walnut H.S. Class of '76?

If so, I hung out with you some in classes. I always wondered what happened to you after HS because you were such a great rider and a smart guy. Always had the bitchin gear too. We raced the 1000 a few times and I always expected to see you running Team Honda or something. I rode a 1969 Yamaha 125 Enduro in HS (hey, it seemed like a giant step up from my Tote Goat!) and I got considerable (and deserved) grief from you. I think I went to a few of your races too. Wasn't there a school team or something?

I'm still a marginal rider. Mostly I ride the Desert and the mountains near home (Sonoma). But I'm still riding. Got my wife riding too.

Man, I've ridden with some great riders, but I think you were the fastest I ever saw.

Yes... I remember Jeff and always enjoyed watching him ride! I'm a bit younger and when I was just starting to race Jeff was already a local expert.

JKP eh, I think awhile back I asked who you were and I dont remember you telling me. Now I know LOL. How ya been? Great to see a pic of Jimmy and his wife. I met Jim up at Mammoth one year, it was his first. We had some fun battles back then. It was a sad day when I learned of his passing. Jeff looks familiar. He must have been racing with the gang back when I was with the Gang 95-01?

Hey Doug , Jeff started 10 or so years ago with us. Has not missed many races since then.

Yeah. hes my step father. he has taught me everything i know about racing.

Jeff Blix raced at Glen Helen last Sunday with the OTHG and CMC race. He looks the same, less hair haha.
