89 cr 250 clutch

Hi... Need help with my clutch. It is full genuine Honda clutch and cable, basket is in good condition and using wc lever. The lever pull is pretty stiff and can't think of anything else to do! Any suggestions? Ps heard about lengthening the pull rod but I have seen others working much better than mine without this mod! Cheers

Did you check the routing? On my 89, the PO had it pinched between the radiator and frame and it was super hard to pull.

Yea it's routed correct man... Fitted new cable myself

It might have stiffer springs in it.
Mine was kind of stiff even with stock springs. I ended up lengthening the arm on mine to make it easier.

Cheers guys, it's got standard Honda springs too... Prob end up lengthening arm thdn!
