hug your family today. a friend of 27 years granddaughter passed away an hour ago. she was six months old, never got out of hospital from birth. her death has bothered me more than any i have gone through. i could say why not a rapist or murderer, which it should be. i will stop there.

Been there. Tough stuff. My daughter was diagnosed with blood cancer and was gone in two weeks. She was 3.5 years old. Last thing she said was " I`m gonna sleep now mommy." And she never woke up. It took us a couple of years to get our life back to somewhat normal.

Ditto. These kinds of threads come up periodically. Should be more often. It acts like a taser to those of us who have not experienced this. A sort of shock back to what really matters. I truly don't know how I would handle either situation. It really strains the human ability to cope with such things.

just sent chills down my body and a tear to my eye. the best thing i have have ever heard in my life recently (even above the motocross talks with my boys) is "good morning daddy", and my life would definitely not be worth living if i couldnt hear that again.

Post a reply to: hugs.
