I kept noticing a bad smell when I used the oven. I pulled the top off the stove and just about hurled. That fucker ripped up all the insulation, pissed and shit everywhere. I closed it up and hauled to the curb. I opened the broiler door to toss in the drip pan and that bastard came out. Big fat fucker. Before we hauled it out I told my friend that I should put my gun in my belt in case he comes out. He is so glad I didn't do that. When the rat came out he was totally disoriented so he ran around me a couple of times before he headed for the neighbors gate. My bud was laughing his ass off and said that all the cars on the street would have had bullet holes in them and I would be in jail. That stove was only 2 years old.

Reminds me of back on the farm when I was a kid and had to grind corn for the cows. I wore a Ruger 22 6 shooter on a hip holster because the rats were thick in the corn pile. I would shovel out some corn and occasionally a big cat sized rat would run out at me. I'd pull the pistol out and usually get them on the 5th or 6th shot. Same deal, they like to run right between your legs. Great fun.
