Looks like Gramps was E-6 (Staff Sargeant). Did he stay in the service or exit after the war (like my grandpa did)?

I noticed some of the pics with Germans and Nazi soldiers in the shot. Did he take those also?

My Father in law was a b-17 waist gunner and when he pasted I got his mission book.
He logged all his missions ( hand written ) it's chilling to read the term ( moderate flack-and nine hour sorties )what these men& women did was awesome.

I read a statistic once that stated we loose people from that generation at the rate of 1,300 a month!
