I really hope the Boston Marathon Bombings weren't just the beginning of a series of bombings in North America. Great job by these officers stopping them before they did any harm.

I wonder if they know something that we don't.
Right now, the only thing that could destroy the American empire is a global war, where all US allies turn against them. I don't think that will happen, not this year anyway.

Terrorist bombings and so forth are just a very small nuisance in the grand scheme of things. Heck, look at the chemical explosion in texas, the US has larger accidents everyday than the Boston bombings.

Sorry about that, Canada. We're the ones who helped start that organization by the CIA and Reagan, through a program called 'Operation Cyclone'. We keep arming and pushing money into these countries with a tactical objective (usually money-based), and we have zero clue what the strategic outcome will be. Very often this shit comes back to bite us in the ass. We're still doing it today funding rebels and selling weapons to that region. It's disheartening. We're making the planet more dangerous just to make a buck.

They had a bail hearing today,can you believe that crap ?If you are charged for terrorism there is no way you should be getting a bail hearing.Stupid Canadian justice system.

The one from the link talks it up about the public agencies, and I didn't see any mention about them being turned in. I'm hoping the majority of Islam evolves quickly and sheds the nutbags, so it isn't a true war of magnitude.

The media down here were talking it up like our FBI was a big part of the discovery. I'm sure they were trying to regain face after this last bombing shows us they really can't do shit about terrorism.

Crazy you guys let them get bail. Even crazier that they're not even citizens, and your judicial system will allow them to go free.

Guns aren't the most effective way to kill/injure large numbers of people...Bombs are. And I hope Boston didn't put that idea in a whole bunch of crazy peoples heads!

Most people aren't aware that Israel thought helping Hamas would be a way to counter the PLO's influence in Israel.

Not to derail the thread but if Israel was truly interested in peace with the Pals they would have done more to support Abbas' Fatah's movement. Is Fatah perfect....hell no but compared to Hamas they're angels. Shame Israel's right and rabid settlers (mostly US Jews) aren't in touch with the realities of the 21st century.
