Looks like the UK will be joining USA, France and Russia in the skies over Syria, perfect recruitment material for ISIS.

I am curious what your suggestion on how to handle this is? History shows sitting back not doing anything doesn't work. Arming others to fight doesn't work. There is no political solution. I honestly would love to hear a viable solution.

History actually shows brute force shuts down tyranny. Whitewashing and revisionist history makes people forget real history.

Sort of like Abe Lincoln had a personal copy of the quran. He then had them imported to the US and asked the people of the US to read it and learn about the evils of Islam. This was just before the last caliphate in the 1800's. Know your enemy. Brute force removes your enemy.

I don't have a solution, but that doesn't mean I can't see what should not be done. If bombing is a solution the Middle East would be a very peaceful place by now. Why are our bombs going to be any more successful than Russian French or American bombs?

Andy,

Michael Scheuer has been spot on all along when it comes to the Middle East.
Feel free to educate yourself on who he is and what his position is.
You may learn something.
WE (the world) need to be all in - something we haven't attempted yet(we nitpicked).
Or WE need to stay out of it.
It needs to be a combination of things to win this - not just bombs.

Here I'll help yah...
Here's a little tidbit from him.
He was spot on about Iraq & Afghanistan and lots of other Middle Eastern conflicts & Jihad in general.

Maybe Saddam wasn't a bad guy for keeping radicals under control. THROGH BRUTE FORCE. And ghadafi. A brute force guy. I'd say those states were keeping radicals contained.

I think America just needs to stay out of the middle east...there will NEVER be peace there. We don't need their oil, and Israel can fend for themselves...so lets just let them kill each other, until a dictator dominates and kills people...then they will kill each other trying to topple the dictator. And keep on killing each other. Its all they know. Democracy will never work there.

America needs to stay out of the middle east...I'm over it.
