Chris, I know I'll never change your mind, and I'm not trying to stir shit up, but If you see it, try and catch the VH1- classic albums show on Nevermind. I think you'll gain a little appreciation for Cobain's talent, especially if you put any stock in Butch Vig's opinions

Who cares what KTMboy thinks? Most of the top musicians agree he was very talented. The only person who thought he was a marginal player was Cobain.

There's a fine line between contrived and talented in guitar playing.

Yeah.. I have my DVR set to record them all on VH1. Really enjoy them all. Wish they'd do more, but they're all from DVD's made several years back.

Butch Vig. That dude has been involved in a LOT of music from the 90's to now.
He gets really sleepy when he drinks though. True story.

He's a great musician in his own right--which helps. His band Garbage w/ Shirley Manson was pretty good. Shirley Manson was in a SWEET band called Angelfish before Garbage. Angelfish were fricken great.

He fell asleep on the shitter at the Viper Room one night about a year after River Phoenix OD'd in the bathroom there. People flipped the hell out, but then he woke up and walked back to the bar.
