I need a tip on a really good brand. I've gone through the $29 Wal-Mart shit and they just dont work that well. I have to go over and over and over the same areas to get it even. I usually cut down to 3/4 or 7/8, 3 or 4 times a year.

I have a shirt that says:

If a man says something in a forest and there's not a woman there to hear him, is he still wrong?

Sometimes I would forget I was wearing it and a clerk or something would look at me and say "yes".
BTW, I will check out Oster.

My wife used to do hair and used a Wahl or something? I still use them..

She just said, Osters are top quality too. She never used them because the Wahl rep was more reliable for service.. What ever the fuck she means by that.

I bought a Wahl but it was like $29 bucks and didn't work that well. I probably need to go to a pro shop and dump some coin but I'm ready.

Mine are Wahl's, I got them from an old barber, they work great.

Do you cut your own hair?

I resorted to shaving my own head. My ole lady cut hair for almost 10 years, knows how I like my hair cut, yet getting her to cut my hair once every few weeks is harder than getting a shot of ass.

My wife clippers are Oster. She uses them for horse grooming. They weren't cheap but they hold up under abuse. Wahl is good also, just get the better quality.

I have used a flowbee successfully for the last 10 years. They work great. I have also started cutting my sons hair with it also. They are awesome.

I have a set of Wahl's that I got at the PX for about 15 bucks. Probably the same or similar to what you'd get at walmart for $29. I've had them for maybe 10 years and they work great. My head gets the #2 or #3 every other week. I cut my kid's har with them too sometimes when I'm home.

The trick is to lead them with a comb to make sure the hair is standing up when it goes in the clippers, especially if you're running as long as 3/4 or more.

I'm on my second Wahl clipper. Good clippers, but when I checked into sharpening the blades on my original set, it was cheaper to just replace the thing -

The trick is to make sure you keep them well oiled.
