Just got back from five days of fishing in the North. A lot of fish were caught in the 20 to 40 lb range. Awesome scenery and food. The shore lunches were epic!

I believe that first pic is a Lake Trout. A big one.
You would be correct. About 40 pounds. The second one is a Northern Pike around 25 lbs.

That's awesome. I'm anxiously awaiting salmon season to kick off here in the Seattle area. Another 3 weeks or so.

Hell yeah. Sockeye season is in full swing up here, good returns at all the rivers.

Twin Otters can't be beat for many reasons including rescue flights to Antarctica in the dead of winter. Only planes that can do that.

Here's a 70.2 pounder caught a few weeks ago at Tazin Lake which is just a little South of where we were at. That's one old fish.

Been fishing the local rivers and the Puget Sound the last couple weeks after work. Here's my best Chinook so far.
