Does anyone have a cheaper way than dealer or locksmith to program a Dodge key fob? They are in the $100-$200 range. I have a ‘16 Ram with a proximity key fob and I’d like a spare. The truck did not come with an extra when I bought it(used). I have a cheap code reader that’s not up to the task of pulling the needed programming code. Thoughts? Ideas? Proven solutions? I’ve tried most of the stuff found on YouTube but I haven’t had success. Thanks.
Of course the one I was at was in Lahina, Maui but if they do it there then your local one probably does it too.

Only had one key/fob with it. Called up the closest VW dealer. $500 for a new one. Frickin robbery, but they have you at their mercy. Googling shows lots of issue with programming so they work right or even just start your car, & getting them cut if you try to go aftermarket.
