I wanted to try going from the smoker to the oven. I think that is what you did. How long and at what temp did you use?

Rub ribs with spice rub of choice
Smoke for about an hour to hour and a half, primarily for the flavoring.
Take ribs out and quickly wrap in several layers of foil, seal each layer individually. (no sauce)
(wrap/seal, wrap/seal, wrap/seal)
Place into preheated 250oF oven for 3-4 hours
Carefully unwrap and remove from foil and place on cookie sheet
Baste sauce
Cook additional 15 mins
Remove from oven and let rest about 5 minutes before serving

Enjoy

Without question, it's cheating and not for the purist.
But, if you're not experienced with running a smoker and being able to maintain consistent temps, this is a good way to cheat, and honestly, you'd never tell the difference.
Tender moist fall off the bone

But yes, it's cheating
