What's the best phone on the market right now? I'm still using my trusty galaxy s5 active with no issues.
I would like to be able to do some work stuff on a larger phone screen but don't want to have a "tablet" held up to my face to make a call.

I had the HTC M8 a few years ago.. after i broke the screen on that phone my provider talked me into getting the samsung galaxy S7.
I wish i had stuck with HTC.... the S7 isnt terrible, i just miss the HTC.
I bought the better half a new Samsung note 8 when it first came out. It is now a $1200 paperweight, she hates it. I am stuck on iphones personally but my opinion is; the Samsung is way too big and the screen looks like it would get broken immediately if I ever tried to carry it with me.
She now has an iPhone 8 that she loves (another grand). I also like her iPhone 8
The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a stylist/smart pen which I believe allows you to sign PDF's and other documents straight from your phone. This is great for the simple fact that you don't have to print the document, sign it, scan it and return it.
Read up on it when you have the chance.
What a piece of trash.
I can't begin to describe how inferior it looks, feels, and operates when compared to my old Nokia Windows phone. And this is essentially what their top-line product was last year. Apple sucks, Android sucks, give me back my Windows 8.1! Arrrrrrrrgh!!!
If I cant find one when this one dies, I will dig out my old Nokia clamshell.
Best thing would be to go play around with different phones in stores and talk with someone there that knows what they're talking about and not necessarily the person that just wants to sell you the most expensive phone.

I did try to switch to an android phone a few years ago and that lasted about 2 days before I was ready to smash it.... What can I say they work good for our needs.
Notes are too fuckin big to stick in a pocket really. It is truly a Phablet or small tablet.
Apple got busted throttling phones. The Google phones are excellent phones. The only advantage I see for Samsungs, is the crazy cheap accessories, 99c screen protectors, 2 dollar glass screen protectors and I got a Body Glove case for a buck at the 99 cent store. I got 2. A black one and a clear one.
Looks like i will upgrade to s8 active sometime soon.
