What's the best phone on the market right now? I'm still using my trusty galaxy s5 active with no issues.

I would like to be able to do some work stuff on a larger phone screen but don't want to have a "tablet" held up to my face to make a call.

Does it fit in your front pocket fine? What about battery getting you thru the day?

iPhone 8 and the wife has the X. The 8 is pretty much the same as the 7 and 6 (which isn't a problem). In my opinion the X seems similar to the 8. I will say the facial unlock feature is pretty sweet. Both are good phones

I have tried the apple stuff but just don't care for it. Right now I spend 10 to 14 hours a day working on a computer so will have to stay with windows all the way around. I got my mom a new iPhone a few years back, she will forget her keys, purse and youngest kid but she has that phone with her at all times lol.

I am a fan of the HTC phones..

I had the HTC M8 a few years ago.. after i broke the screen on that phone my provider talked me into getting the samsung galaxy S7.

I wish i had stuck with HTC.... the S7 isnt terrible, i just miss the HTC.

I have an iPhone 7 I like it just fine.
I bought the better half a new Samsung note 8 when it first came out. It is now a $1200 paperweight, she hates it. I am stuck on iphones personally but my opinion is; the Samsung is way too big and the screen looks like it would get broken immediately if I ever tried to carry it with me.
She now has an iPhone 8 that she loves (another grand). I also like her iPhone 8

To be honest I don't know about any of that. I'm currently still using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. My next phone needs to be bigger. Big hands and small phones don't work all that great. I read good things about the Galaxy Note 8.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a stylist/smart pen which I believe allows you to sign PDF's and other documents straight from your phone. This is great for the simple fact that you don't have to print the document, sign it, scan it and return it.

Read up on it when you have the chance.

Have you got a screen protector for your edge? The note 8 is on the top of my list but not so sure about not having protection from scratches on the screen.

We put a glass screen protector on the one I bought. They make a curved glass that fits perfect

We had to switch carriers recently and my new one doesn't handle Windows phone. No big deal, those are extinct now anyway. I sort of hate Apple for all their proprietary BS, so I went with an Android - Samsung Galaxy 7 or whatever it is.

What a piece of trash.

I can't begin to describe how inferior it looks, feels, and operates when compared to my old Nokia Windows phone. And this is essentially what their top-line product was last year. Apple sucks, Android sucks, give me back my Windows 8.1! Arrrrrrrrgh!!!Angry

I currently have the iPhone 7 and Google Pixel. I like the Google Pixel. The camera is top notch, much better pictures than my iPhone 7. I would really like to get the Google Pixel 2 but this one isn't broke yet.

I still use my iPhone 4s and looking for another one on eBay right now. Would love to find a NOS model.

If I cant find one when this one dies, I will dig out my old Nokia clamshell.

I don't have a screen protector on my phone but that's because I chose not to put one on. Like Hut mentioned they are out there and available if you absolutely need one.

Best thing would be to go play around with different phones in stores and talk with someone there that knows what they're talking about and not necessarily the person that just wants to sell you the most expensive phone.

I have an iPhone X and love it. I am not an Apple lemming, but I do like some of their products. The new 10 is fast, big screen in the smaller phone is great to me. Don't have to carry around a whole tablet to get the bigger screen.

FWIW my favorite phone ever was my iphone 5s it was the perfect size with a decent camera. Just a tad longer than the original dimensions.

I guess I am one of those lemmings. I used to always run desktops with some flavor of Linux or another but now we have 2 imacs, 3 ipads and just about every damn version of iphone there is plus 2 ipod classics...lol
I did try to switch to an android phone a few years ago and that lasted about 2 days before I was ready to smash it.... What can I say they work good for our needs. Cool

You can sign stuff on any Galaxy 2-8 als also with your finger or a stylus. 99c stores have styluses for a buck if you want to make it look pen perfect.

Notes are too fuckin big to stick in a pocket really. It is truly a Phablet or small tablet.

Apple got busted throttling phones. The Google phones are excellent phones. The only advantage I see for Samsungs, is the crazy cheap accessories, 99c screen protectors, 2 dollar glass screen protectors and I got a Body Glove case for a buck at the 99 cent store. I got 2. A black one and a clear one.

I’m still on iPhone 6s. Every time I get an iPhone they last me about 3-5 years. My droid phones would die after a year or just start acting up. But I haven’t had one in a long time. Maybe they’re better now.

I had the Galaxy S6 Active and now the S8 Active. They're pretty damn durable. I've dropped both face down on stones, in the water, in the sand, and still no issues. They're waterproof. Battery lasts easily for a fully day in the S6 Active and I was able to get 2 days out of the S8 Active. It's got a case built onto it pretty much. I'm not sure about the S8 Active, only assuming, but the S6 Active had a shatter resistant screen. I had a few nicks taken out of the screen from dropping it on the ground and it's never shattered. I'm assuming the S8 Active is the same.

The Samsung galaxy is a phone and the Active version is a rugged or tuff style.
