BMX Riders, Olympics has me interested

Since I started pedaling to work some time ago, the Olympics BMX thing, can a 40 year old go out and ride BMX? I havnent ridden a 20 inch bike since I was 20, looking at them today they seem tiny. What size would be the most fun? In comparison to MX these things are dirt cheap.

Dude it's a blast, I raced for the first time in 20 some years just last week. We went for to the BMX races for our kids but my wife and I had just as much fun as the kids did. The races go super quick, 2 hours and the whole program is done. I just got a new 24" and I'd like to get a 20" too. Get a bike Tiki you'll have a hoot. There are lots of old guys out here racing, last weekend we had 5 in the over 40 class.

Tiki they have 24" cruisers that have an age group just for you, the 36 to 40 year old class or you could get a 20" class bike and race 27 and older. More then likley at a local level on a 20 you would be with the 18 yearolds, there fast but they know nothing about MX bred aggresiveness. Last week I got 3 in the 18 year old Ex class because I took out have the field in the first turn. I went low hit the kid in front of me and he collected the pack.

At nationals they have a 36 and over 20" class, that is the funnest class for me.
