They are mercenaries, nothing more, nothing less. I live in the heart of Blackwater country, Moyock is about fifteen minutes from here.

Private army for hire.

Allows a government to circumvent the rules of engagement and moral standards imposed upon a domestic fighting force.

Essentially it's the US version of Al Queda. An army without a government to hold accountable.

actually that's not a bad comparison in some instances Rooster.

They are definitely outside the bounds of law that everyone else faces.

Most are former soldiers that went back at triple the military pay for doing practically the same thing.
