sad part is.. half those people dont deserve shit. how the hell does a "monster girl" get a watch sponsor. let alone half the people on that damn list. sad when real athletes are out doin what they do and cant even get a real sponsor. just stupid in my eyes..

but straight up, not all, but half of them... its who you blow not who you know..

Here's how it works - when you have your own company, you can support who you want to.

The Rockwell people are some of the best in the pits and they support the sport.

Yes, I have a few.

Exactly.

Who cares if some of the people on "Team Rockwell" are not "A" list people. Those people are obviously higher on the popularity alphabet scale than 99% of VitalMX.

And I am sure that the marketing budget they have to work with is limited, so I guess they could mortgage the whole company and pay some "big name" person? Or do it the smart way, and just team up with people who are somewhat connected or popular within their sport or industry and "hook them up"? Marketing 101 at the community college....

And they do have some pretty cool looking watches, not exactly my style but I am not their demographic either. Anyone that supports the sport should get our support, or at least some respect.

I don't own a Rockwell, but if I need a watch it will be a Rockwell because they support the sport.
A lot of people look at Monster girls,so it makes sense for them to be wearing a Rockwell,it's called advertising.
Thats why they deserve the watch.

First off, who in the hell would pay that kind of money for a Japanese quartz movement. That watch, at the most cost about 10 dollars to make. May as well buy a Fossil and save a few hundred.

i agree with what you all are saying.. support the ones who support the sport. im all about that. i just find it odd that there are riders out there looking hard for sponsors, and they giving watches, advertising space and what not to people who the "sponsor" when there are more deserving people out there. thats all i ment..

ummmm i didnt say a damn thing about privateer/satalite team riders or the damn police mx race team. cause those are the people i feel need the sponsorship. im talking about the "pretty people" who really have no reason to reep the benifits of a company that is try to support THE RIDERS!!

so, try again..

Nothing against Rockwell but I don't see how handing out watches to a bunch of people in the industry is exactly "supporting the sport".

It's simple product placement.

Last time I checked privateers weren't struggling to get to the races cause they didn't know what time it was.
