I liked the little short video of the riders they show at the beginning of the show . I thought some of them were pretty good . ( KW was one of the best. IMO ) What I didn't like was when they introduced the riders , some came out on there bikes and rode while others were shown walking by people giving everyone high fives. To the riders that give us a show ( Kw, CR, Dv and the others ) thanks. As for the others , who in the hell wants to watch you giving people hi fives? ( doesn't do anything for me.

So it was cool for those 20 people . How about the other 70,000 people. My girlfriend thought it was lame. ( her 1st sx ) . While she is not the biggest DV12 fan ( sorry David , she wasn't around when you were on top of your game " title="Laughing"> ) she thought it was so cool the way dv12 came out walking it while standing on the seat. Why not give the fans a treat and then go get your rock star treatment?

If that is the case then LN sucks, I would think the riders would have a choice :? IMO it was just better show when the spot light was on the rider and they were showing off. Anyway by far RC on the smoker was best part of the opening. My girlfriend had never seen RC ride before , so that really made her day ! He also had the loudest applause

For sure . While in beer line " title="Laughing"> I talked to a guy in line and he asked if 07 was still hurt? There has to be a show for people like that guy , with just a limated amount of knowledge about the sport. I enjoy the show , Im not one of these people that are anti stupidcross as its called. To see KW showing off his kids and then go put on a show for the fans was great and RC on 2 stroke - priceless- .

I have to say that I completely HATE all the pyro shit they are doing at the opening of these events now. I mean some of it is ok but, that shit they lite off that foloows the track is so not needed, at least not in a dome for petes sake! It completely fills the place with nasty smelling thick smoke that we all have to sit there a breath. Not to meantion the racers have to race while it is a haze of fireworks fog still in the air. I tried to grab a few shots of RC on the smoker and you cant even see him in the pictures while jumping the tripple, thank god he knew where he was going.

At the riders meeting they call out numbers and tell them if they should be on a bike or not.
"Opening ceremonies 14 with a bike, 15 no bike" etc....

P.S. - triple

I really liked Davi's intro, but thought it would have been better if he'd ridden out on the bike. But, you could end up with someone like Ramsey who apparently isn't that good at wheelies, or stoppies, or doughnuts and he just rides out waving.

Anyway, it was cool. I just wish there was more racing.

The Windham intro was amazing.
Millsaps' video had the most creativity, along with Ferry's intro with the whole dog theme.
