05 crf250 my carb overflow tube has been dripping more than usual and i feel like im not only wasting gas but im getn the good old dirt gassy! so whats the root to this problem, leak jet? ive got to do some motor maintenance soon anyway so ill be tearing the whole baike apart id like to fix it so im ready to go for spring

If you are going to freshen that thing up, go to mergeracing.com. The ALJ set up with the pump spring will make that bog go away, you'll be surprised how well it works. There is a reason KTM, Factory Connection, Gibbs, H/H and other are using it.

check your float height/needle and seat, or little elves inside your carb with hammers

well since its an 05 and its paid off id like to keep it as a practice bike and ive got the quickshot accelerator pump cover already so if i get an 07 or 08 within the next year id do the ALJ to that, ive seen it and been debating it though. damn elves...
