If you had the chance, they were both paying the same $, etc, and you had the chance whom would you rather ride for? Yamaha of Troy or Pro Circuit in the Lites class? Just curious as to answers.

Okay, so I had a feeling you all would say this. Just curious as to why? If you don't mind me asking.

Yot or Honda of Troy stoped using Honda and went down hill.

Thats just my opinion though.

Fair enough, they have had their champions since Honda also though, ie: Chad Reed and most recently Jason Lawrence (please don't turn this into a J-Law bashing thread..lol)

You forgot Tedesco. Didn't quite get the championship, but was right in there.

what about Ramsey's championship, Foncesa had two of them and Roncoda had one,

YOT has had 6 championships [including Reed and JLaw], how many has FC and KTM had?

so how can you guys can say KTM and FC are better than YOT when your facts don't support your statement?

Thanks for that....I am always going to be a YoT fan till the end! PC is a great orginazation but seems that the guys at YoT are a little more relaxed and have more fun than those at PC. True, Mitch has a great thing going and always has. Dang (YoT's Team Manager) is also an awesome guy who was a mechanic and kinda was thrown into the Team Manager position which I feel he is doing a great job at! Just my 2 cents

This isn't even a question. Anyone with any sense would ride PC for free if they had too.

PC is the best race team to be on if you want to win.

YoT is an awesome team. They are winners, and when they have the right riders they see huge success. Results wise, they are more effective than any other Lites team except PC. I think they are really underrated.

Given PC's record and history of success though, it would be tough to not pick them.

If I had an offer to ride for YOT with a salary or PC for free I would be on YOT no doubt. I don't think PCs bikes are that much better than YOTs.

Put them side by side.

Yot= Reed and Lawenski

PC= Everyone

Nothing against YOT. They did great in SX. How did 338's bike do last week?

and tedescos bike the year before. When putting 40 HP or 43 or whatever out of a 250f something eventually gives.

As for YOT vs PC, I'd choose YOT, just because i refuse to have a monster logo on my bike and gear haha

Why don't you actually compare them then. Champs since 2000:

YoT

Fonseca (2x SX)
Roncada (SX)
Reed (SX)
Lawrence (SX)

PC
Brown (MX)
Tedesco (2x SX, 1 MX)
Langston (2x SX)
Villopoto (SX, 2x MX)
Townley (SX)

Of course PC has the edge, hard to deny that, but YoT really punches above their weight. Only other satellite team that can figure into that is FC, with two SX titles.

Ok, for arguement sakes and since we all like to argue, how many of those titles would have been won if the rider was on the other bike, i.e Vill, Townley, Langston etc on YOT and reverse.....? Is it the rider or the bike/team? I personally think its the rider. Put Villopot on a YOT bike the last few years and he is still winning the title.
