The fact that your still here? That's most impressive. Don't get me wrong, I like the old motodrivish feel of your waning posts.
There's always next year! 72 wins is a long way away.

I'd take a AMA SX championship & an AMA outdoor championship in the same year over a World Championship.

I think it depends on the "world title" The world titles that AC222 has been racking up is pretty impressive. The "World Supercross" Title they were giving out, not so impressive. I say that becuase we all know the real champ was the dude who won the AMA championship.

IMO, you can't compare the MXGP series to the AMA Outdoor series. 2 totally different things.

How many countries does the DC series run in 1, top high quality Riders and machines. Tracks are well groomed and the racing is setup for Promoters pocket 1st, TV 2nd, Factories 3rd, Fans 4th and the riders can either race or fukoff. Impartial officiating is non existent.

Gp's race in 10+ countries top quality riders and machines. Tracks are well groomed and the racing is set up for Giuseppe 1st, Giuseppe 2nd, TV 3rd, Riders 4th, Fans 5th. Again the riders can pay to race or fukoff.Impartial officiating is slightly better by FIM.

Overall I go with the GP's as the extra travelling, all the dramas associated that make the Series a lot harder just to co-ordinate the races let alone the teams dramas than a lot of people think. The riders and crew get to experience so many different cultures that alone is worth so much in maturing and having a better understanding of life. Prizemoney SFA. Bonuses contracts Good for the top riders, Super Good for the Elite. Privateers need not apply unless backed by a Multi Squilionaire

The AMA series seems to be well run but some of the decisions made are a bit suss (incl SX) and not a lot of loyalty shown
Prizemoney SFA. Bonuses Good. Contracts super good for the elite. Privateers are invited to attempt to qualify for a fee. But unfortunately for the peeps of the good ole USA it is after all only 1 country, even though it is the land of the free riders shouldn't be asked to race and entertain for basically free.

Americans have enough drama each year just going to Canada and expect to wave a wad of notes around big noting to receive favoritism with medical staff let alone the Border Control hassles that seem to crop up each year. DW and his crew should know what is required before hand. Mr Tickle you are lucky, some hospitals I have been to have made us wait till last as they see No reason to help someone who deliberately puts themselves at risk.

"We" is the vast majority of the sport who watch, participate, etc. and know that winning the AMA SX series is much more than winning the "World SX series". I mean, if did like Heath Voss' pockets with 100 grand some extra sponsers but the real prestige, money and sponsers came to the dude who won the AMA title.

Weather you include yourself in "We" is totally up to you BL Smile

Fuck the haters Lenny...you are a cool MX dude. GP titles have lost the luster they once held in the USA...and that is a shame. AC222 is a bad mofo... I wish the parties would make it cool for the fans and let the boys boogie woogie!

I think AMA titles with winning indoors and out is more impressive than just outdoors. Look at guys like Alessi that have won outdoor races but don't even come close indoors and only one 450 podium in his career.

But if I was racing I think it would be so badass to be on the World GP's schedule and getting paid to travel the world and race!!

I also find it weird that AC222 has never raced a Supercross race in Europe. I'm sure he has done some and don't feel like looking it up but even when you see results for places like Genova, Paris and all those indoor races, you never see his name. I'm sure its something like avoiding injury but in my eyes, riders that win at both indoor and out are better overall racers, like Villopoto and Carmichael.
