Having a debate need some input... In what place do you think villopoto would finish in a GNCC race?

Agreed. The GNCC guys run suspension just like these guys run in the nationals & maybe an extra tooth on the rear, so the bike would be set up close to normal. It is a 3hr race, but RV is in amazing shape. Aslong as he paced himself the first 2-3 laps in a good position, I think he'd do just fine. It depends which one he raced though. Snowshoe he wouldn't do so well (rocks, roots, up & down hills, wet & muddy) but river ranch (flat, sand) or The General( Ga clay, fairly flat) are more open & fast, ahla, RV would run it. Osborne got a few podiums when he raced them & he did it on his practice bike. I race hare scrambles & I use a MX bike with a larger tank & some armor. A bit lower gearing & softer valving, but it works great for GNCC like races.

He would win his first time out. Those guys are bad ass but retired pro MXers compete for wins there.

Seems like he'd have a problem taken it down a notch for 3 hours.... unless there was a million up for grabs!

Ryno and Henry ring a bell, these guys won certian events and are not RV. RV would be gone no doubt..
Actually he would win the 3hr event in 2 hrs I reckon:-)

I have rode a GNCC last year as I was coming off a broken leg but I have always wanted to race one I will be the first to say it's pretty brutal although I was coming off the couch it whooped me pretty good and it was only a 2hr race compared to the pro 3hr race.. But I still believe someone with RV2 'a talent could come off a track and place easy top 10 in a GNCC
