I am in the market for a 450, but can't afford a new one, any recomendations on used ones. Was it the 08 CRF that was prefered over the newer models by many? I have heard the Kaws are awesome, except for the front end push, can that be fixed by different triple clamps? Finally the Zuke really intrigues me becasue of its cornering prowess which is really important for me.
Most reliable?
Do any dealers still have unsold inventory?
Thanks

You can't go wrong with an 06-08 Crf450r I had the 06 and with no mods the thing was amazing. Awsome handling stock But with the 08 and the damper I'd imagine it would be better.

I had both the 06 and 07. Great bikes! I've recently ridden most of the 2011's and didn't feel at a disadvantage on my older CRF's. I actually have an 07 for sale now.Whistling But seriously, they are awesome bikes. Bullet proof and do everything very well in my opinion.

O7/08 CRF-awesome bikes. You can also pick up an 08-09 YZF for cheap, cheap, cheap, and they are also great bikes. Both super durable-common sense maintenance and you're good to go with either one. I still think the build quality is better on these two then the others, but that is just mho.

Oh, and look south! Hate to say it but with the high cdn $, you can't beat the prices across the border.

I had an 06 CRF450 and now have an 08. Both are great, but I like the 08 MUCH better. Handles WAAAY better and the individual mapping for 1st and 2nd gear makes it much more responsive.

My 08 is for sale. And yes MXA said the 08 Honda would have won the 09 450 shootout

If you're buying a bike and don't have a lot of money, I'd go with a 09 Yamaha. They turned better that the previous years, super reliable, and the best stock suspension.

The Honda is going to need some work on the suspenders.
