Why do they run the track markers outside that tree there?

It seemed to me they could move the markers inside the tree, and stack some hay infront of it, but they just had a thin pad around it (Looked like), and it was in the middle of the track. WTF?

Maybe I was seeing things, I'll have to watch it again, but my son commented on it too.

I have ridden several laps there this year and I never felt threatened by a tree next to the course. There are tracks where I think to myself, "Wow, if I flew off the track I may t-bone that big tree!"
So, yeah, I imagine what you are saying, but don't know where you mean.

Only one I can think of is the left hip turn over the tunnel after the whoops. But that isn't IN the track.

Nice cheater line on the left side of the table before the finish too.

I fumbled, it was Red Bud, not Millville. There's a left hander, slightly uphill that the sinage goes outside a couple of trees. There are track markers, but a bunch of them cut inside them, and went right by the tree.

If you need a marker to see a tree maybe you should give your ride to someone else?

"Let us burn one, from end to end.
And pass is over to me my friend.
Burn it long, but burn it slow,
to light me up before I go.

If you dont like my fire, then dont come around.
Cause I'm gonna burn one down.
Yes I'm gonna burn one down

My choice is what i chose to do;
and if I'm causin no harm,
it shouldn't bother you.
Your choice is who you chose to be;
and if your causin to harm, then your alright with me.

If you dont like my fire, then dont come around, cause I'm gona burn one down.
Yes i'm gonna burn one, down.

Herb the gift, from the Earth,
and what's from the earth is of the greatest worth.
So before u knock it, try it first.
and you'll see it's a blessing and it's not a curse.
If you dont like my fire, then dont come around,
cause i'm gonna burn one down.
Yes i'm gonna burn one.

oh yeah"

Perhaps we could ask the tree in our most eco friendly voice to please remove itself from the mx track?

Or we could threaten to cut it down and let some hippies live in it. It would be interesting to see some tree huggers try one Friday night at RedBud!!!

I bet there would be a fire!!!!
