i live by "you get what you pay for". and that stuff seems expensive. id say its a good to go if you have that extra cash. but i have no real clue. so this reply was totally worthless.

They do good work. At least they have for me.

Tokyo Mods is owned by Ron Wood. He used to work for Kawaski and Honda in the R@D engine department. He also worked for TRD (Toyota Racing Development) building motors before he started Tokyo Mods.

Ron also spent many years racing 125cc shifter karts for JC Waterhouse (now the Factory Connection Team Manager) when JC owned MOTOMO. JC and Ron both worked together at American Honda.

Ron knows his stuff, is a racer at heart , and was playing around with aftermarket ignition systems years before the public knew about it.

In a nutshell, he's worth the try if you want to go a different route.

Tokyo Mods, does great work, their shop is a little over a mile away, I drive by often, and it seems they are always busy.

The early CRF motors were created with Ron very involved. If you have CRF, he knows how to make it work to its potential.

i had a KX250F that was built by Tokyo Mods and that thing was an absolute rocket ship!! Like with any built 250F it was hard to start at times and the valves did get out of whack once and needed an adjustment, I'm a big guy for a 250F and it hauled my big ass around just fine.
