No problem. I didn't notice it while I was there, but in looking at the photos I see a tube coming out of Mike's helmet. It didn't look like he was wearing a Camelback, but the tube looks as though he had some sort of hydration system.

I talked to, who i assume was Mike's mechanic, and he said the plan is for Mike to be back for SX 2011. I didn't pay much attention to Metty's bike, but I thought he was on a 450, not sure about the black plates.

I hope all those guys have a great, competitive season.

How was Tommy Searle looking on the day?

Read some where an extra lap and Rattary would have caught him in moto 2?

Searle looked okay; still getting up to speed from injury I think. Honestly, I expected to see those four Factory/Satellite riders, Alessi, Metcalfe, Rattray Seale to lock up the top 4 slots early in the moto. The locals were strong.

The tube coming out of Mike's helmet is a hats off device. it's mandatory for Supercross , not sure if it is for MX.

it's a bag that inflates to aide in removing the helmet when a rider has a head injury or spinal injury.

Ya right.. It must be the new hats off device. Remove the helmet, by inflating the mouth with water..

The tube for the hats off is short and at the back of the helmet.

He wore a Camelback at the nats. last year. I saw him stick the tube in his mouth at Freestone.

Wrong.....
Hats off device have a small tube that tucks into the helmet.
Stephon is correct. It's some sort of hydration device.
This is a large tube running outside the helmet into the chinbar.

I didn't see you out there Friday. I would've come over and spoke to ya. Admittedly, I was a little out of it. My brother was in town from Virginia Beach and he'd never been out to GH. We went skiing the day before so we were kinda burnt out. I think it was Moto 2 that I saw.

Look at Clemente Desalle and he is running the same thing Mike is using. Its a hydration system, not a hats-off device

I was trying to see where the fluid goes if it's a hydration system.
