Anyone know if there's been an announcement or info leaked regarding if/when next year's version of the game is coming?

I was wondering the same, but I doubt it. If I recall, they were scanning the tracks after each race, and I doubt that was possible once the COVID restrictions went into effect.

It surprises me that they release new games so often. DLC drop, for money, a season or two after each release and update the roster.

A multiplayer season pass giving the ability to unlock rare gear sets and graphics would be cool too.

Doesn't surprise me at all, just one of those quantity over quality companies. They've been using the same physics engines for yearsss across mxgp, motogp and all of their other motorsports games.
