Hey folks,
I was reading the evolution of Husky thread and saw someone's red and blue Husky, and it reminded me of the submission I entered into the PULPMX Tech1 graphics contest.
All I got was honorable mention, and I believe the winner, while good, wasn't the best.
Please tell me what you think.

Hey I have a question for you...
I always here references about David Bailey painting helmets and designing things... was he a trained artist? And do you have any photos of some helmets that he painted?

When he started doing helmets, it was really early on. Just after Troy started blowing up. While the helmets being done at that time were way less intricate than what we see today, they were still really well done, and unlike anything else that you would see from a manufacturer.
To illustrate my stupidity, in 1991 I had David paint me a JT ALS-2 helmet when I was deep into racing stand up Jet Skis. He painted me an ultra trick piece of art that I wore for two seasons before it basically fell apart (salt water + foam= not good). I kept the helmet for a couple of years on a shelf in my garage until I just got tired of it taking up space. In a moment of insanity, I threw it in the trash during a major clean up.
Now I think about that helmet all the time, and what a dumb ass I am.
Here's my unfinished ones for next year. I like 'em but most others probably don't.
I hadn't thought about them in a year since the contest and was curious to see what people thought about them, not to solicit opinions on whether or not they'd run them.
