Sidi Crossfire vs Sidi Crossfire 2. when it comes to price difference i can find the Crossfire for 200 to 300 cheaper then the crossfire 2. i know the basic differences as far as interchangeable sole an what not. Have any of you worn both sets of boots an can give me some advice on if is worth spending the extra 300 or if the crossfires are just as comfortable an same quality. im still running the old fox v3's so its time for something new
Our observations so far after a few rides:
Break in was quick and painless
No hot spots
Heavy compared to A Stars tech 7s
Hope this helps

Crossfire in general is very good though. I had a crash with my old TCX and I needed new, thicker and safer boots and Sidi provided them.
The old ones are well worth the money. Only if your a top 100 pro would you see a difference

The SRS (which is what I have in both models) have a replaceable sole. I believe it wears quicker than the conventional sole. But, the boot itself stays flatter, as in the toes don't curl up like Tech 8, Gearne and other boots with stitched on soles.
Hope this helps.........
