Are you having problems dialing it in?

From what I've gathered (and I just picked up a '14) the SFF forks can be made just fine once you get them revalved...

Get the 15..... The forks, although not as good as other bikes, are still better than the 14 forks and worth the extra $600

I'd go 15 too, it's 3 pounds lighter I believe, two in the forks and one in the frame. The frame is different and more forgiving, plus if you race it has starting maps with I find to be extremely effective. I thought my air forks were just ok stock, not nearly as bad as the 13-14's but FC has made them pretty damn amazing.

Get the 15 as the chassis is noticeably better, the 13-14 chassis is very stiff in comparison. By example, Suzuki's teams were using the 2012 chassis during 13 and 14 because of rider feedback. But they switched to the 15 chassis as it was quite the improvement.

I have the 13 RMZ SFF. Wow it was nasty harsh..I think my right wrist is messed up for life from the bars getting yanked from my death grip..Sent mine in to Fact Conn and it is awesome..On like thier 3rd generation of settings it is pretty good..With what I've been hearing about the Air fork being so hard to dial in and constantly messing with air preasure im thinking no thanks..Ill wait and see what the 17 looks like..

My 2013 came stock with a .100 spring. Suzuki must have ordered too many and dumped them on the public.

Bastards!

I am a 200lb A rider and this was too stiff, would not respond to adjustments at all and was not rideable.

I installed a .92 from Race Tech. $80.00. New fluids and it's a dream machine.

Regarding the 14 vs the 15 if it's only $600.00 then do the 15, however it would surprise me if you could not get them to come off that 14 even more.

My 13 rmz 450, done by factory connection is awesome, either bike you buy, needs sprung and revalved. That being said. Buy the 15_ the resale will make up the $600_ you saved. My,2cents.

They placed that spring rate in both the RM-Z450 and RM-Z250! Never understood that one at all....

I've heard the same thing about the forks. I didn't even ride mine before I had it revalved by FC and I think the bike is amazing. I'd budget about $800 for the revalve on either bike. If you can afford it on the '15, grab the newer model. If you can't, there's your answer.
