I don't know how long you plan on racing professionally. You still have some speed and seem capable of doing even better than you are if everything falls into place (health, practice etc etc etc).
However, have you ever thought about or wanted to do a full season as a "true privateer" maybe just doing selected races, international races, offroad races...just a fun schedule of select events more or less a privateer? I always thought it would be cool to just go ride all sort of different events for a year if I could financially make it happen. Anyway, just curious if you have ever considered this DV.
BTW...whenever you decide to stop racing professionally you should stay involved in the sport. You bring some good insights and opinions to the table as an experienced racer and longtime international fan of the sport.

Get yourself a nice motorhome and do the nationals like that. I know that would be almost impossible to get any results at all, but you may have more fun seeing a more close up shot of the US, not from 30K feet.
