Just finished watching TGO Another Perfect Season and here's how my brain works:
1) I forgot just how GREAT RC looked on his Hondas. The guy beat the crap out of everyone that year!
2) James Stewart is THE baddest mofo to EVER ride a 125 2-stroke mx bike - period. I realize there have been some other great riders (O'Mara, Barnett, Wardy, etc), but NO ONE was as good as James.
3) Ivan Tedesco looked amazing on his Pro Circuit bikes! I really wish IT9 would have been able to step up when he stepped up to the 450s.
4) Davi Millsaps was just too big to ride the 250Fs.
5) I miss seeing Ernesto Fonseca racing. I hope he's alright these days.
6) Matt Walker had BIG balls the way he dealt with Mitch Payton to get his PC ride that year.
7) I feel for Chad Reed - The guy was/is above MOST EVERYONE ELSE, but he had NOTHING for Ricky outdoors. *sidenote: I've really become a fan of Chad's the last few years.
8) One of the coolest 10 second video clips is in the David Villuemin section where they show him in slow-mo, full throttle exiting a turn and casually reaching up to pull a tear off - love it.
9) Broc Hepler needed a helmet that resembled those blow up sumo wrestler costumes to keep him safe. Too bad the kid kept scrambling his brain. I was never really a fan of his, but it seemed like he had potential to kick some serious ass.
10) Kevin Windham - enough said.
11) Did I mention how great RC looked on his red bikes???
