Open class and RPV

Anyone in the know about RPV and if a rider gets points in an Open Am (no A riders) class? Some people who I would think should run B or C class run this and wondered if they are trying to not point out of a class.

Your question is confusing, open am ( amateur ) aka open b. You need an rpv of 15 or higher to be advanced to A. But if you're under 16 you can't be bumped. I take it you mean a class like unlimited b/c? That I do not know.

Around here they call it Open Amateur and it is for anyone except A riders.
