New starting system?

Hey would it be cool to have a start system where the individual gate's drop in order of your qualifying position and dropped by the time your are behind in qualifying? Thought it would make qualifying times more important and meaningful. Probably not such good racing if the quickest ones get out front early but maybe it would be fair?

The fastest qualifiers already get an advantage based on gate pick. Not every gate is the same distance to the first turn. Having gates falling at different intervals will just cause people to jump the start. It would never work.
