Hey my name is Alex and my step-dad rides dirt bikes and I wanted to start riding with him. I'm fourteen and I'm about 5' 4". I wouldn't be riding on mx tracks just riding around in the desert and trails. What would you guys recommend for my first bike. Also I have a lot of experiance with atvs but I wanted to start riding dirt bikes.

i would head to a few bike shops sit on a couple bikes and find whats comfortable..ask the dealer what his opinion is im 14 5'4 also i'd go with a yamaha 250 but if u want get a 450.

Then you can just put knobbies on it and it would be a perfect dual sport bike for the dirt rails .... just gear it down a little . Just kidding there kid . Get a CRF 150
