I didn't know it was professional for an official publication to continually throw shots at a rider. No matter what he did.

Well, I guess MXA has been around for ever, and if they want to bash, so be it. Sometimes it's refreshing to hear critical commentary, instead the sugar coated buddy buddy stuff that most of the outlets share.

Anyway, who are you refering to?

Yeah, but they don't have to be such assholes about it. I'll NEVER forgive them for what they said about Robbie Reynard - they attacked him because his dad did some work on his engine, and said, "Robbie's mother apparently didn't have time to do his suspension." Wankers.

MXA is a great mag. They call it like they see it. They are not into kissing the asses of the riders Like Transworld and RacerX for the sake of a hot interview down the road.

WTF? I think your message would be a bit clearer if you gave us the name of the rider, and the text you are referring to? This is a bit thin...

"Just saying"...

I'm just saying that they never miss a chance to take a shot at Lawrence. They broke the fight story. They call him J-Lawless. They wrote in their article that he was hanging out with girls at SF. What is the point of writing that? Only negatives come from that. Now I go there to check out any race updates and it has a story about next weeks race. The headline says something about buying tickets to the race and maybe you will get lucky enough to sit next to jlaw in the stands. They are just over the top. I know many of you love it but if he didn't do anything to them, what's the point. Maybe he snubbed them when they tried to interview him.

Maybe, just maybe the guys at MXA are tired of seeing him squander his talent and opportunity, pissing it away at every turn. Now he's a whipping boy which he brings upon himself. If you could detach yourself from his scrotum long enough to step back and take a look at the big picture, maybe you could see that, too.

The guys on the broadcast are talking about it now. Must be a conspiracy.

MXA is O.K., I guess. The one thing that really bugs me about MXA, they never seem to want to own up to who is writing the story. Should we just assume that Jody writes everything?

I remember awhile ago, they had one of their "canned" write in questions about the topic. They had some kind of answer as to why they didn't provide by-lines, I just don't remember. I did remember that I didn't buy it though.

I agree with you..whoever you are...that it is wrong to write things about other people without signing your name to it...oh yeah, their names are in the front of the magazine. Where is yours?

Well to say the least I feel really weird
for not going for sure. Seems like forever
I've hit 'em all, all the "A races" anyways.
Yeah, the weather, etc., changed it all for me.
I'll catch it on TV in the AM.
Still feels weird though.............

Ok. I understand what you mean, and no one can say you are wrong here since we are all entitled to have an opinion. About JLaw, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see he's being very destructive, maybe MXA think they are helping by barking at him? Or maybe he pisses them off?

At one point they are in tune with our emotions, and one point they are not? Maybe that's the issue?
