Kelly Smith breaks his leg in Baltimore and will be out for quite some time.

Leighton Lillie busts up his family jewels in Baltimore and doesn't ride either night.

Shane Sewell is selected to take his spot on the team and ends up breaking his wrist in Dayton.

It seems like the team is cursed this season. Not to mention, Chad Johnson has yet to win a main event in 5 tries.

Who will ride the spare Babbitt's Kawasaki bike this weekend in Louisville?

Yea at Baltimore they couldnt keep Johnsons motor together. I think they changed the motor once and every time he came off the track weather it was practice or race they had the head off doing god knows what...
In the main on Saturday night it blew again...

I talked with Shawn after the race for a bit. Said he felt pretty good, just getting up to speed with the track and bike. Looked pretty good from what I saw as well.

Just an update - Shane Sewell was very fortunate and did not end up with a break in his hand. His hand ended up being cut and was closed with 27 stitches after being landed on. Plans are to return for the NC race.

Well that is good to hear. It is nice to see Shane out there battling with the veterans of AX. He has shown the speed to maybe win some mains this season.
