I know that its a dome they are racing in and I know that every once in a while, the racers/teams deal with snow in Salt Lake, but is this snow thats happening in Minneapolis going to affect anything at all? I cant recall except maybe when they raced in Detroit years ago where Snow came down so much as it is up in MN at the moment. They were calling for a foot of it by the weekend. Just wondering if this has an effect on future SX events being held there....I remember it said somewhere that they were happy the SX was being held at this time of the year in Minneapolis because they could actually have a parking lot pit....I am assuming this has changed?

I do not thing downtown Minneapolis is going to get as much as they once said. Maybe 6" today. The weather is worse west of cities. May make it more difficult on the teams to get to the race. I think 40's for Saturday.

I'm sure the truck drivers and mechanics don't like it but it won't effect the races.

I know bro and i have been thinking about you every night. just been one of those deals i think you can relate to...somewhere along the lines of: when you dont have a lot of good things to say, its better to say nothing? Things have been looking up this week though, have had a couple "good days" in a row, so thats a step fwd. Cool

I usually don't have much contact with DaveO' on a race weekend. He's working, and isn't in the state of mind for casual conversation (Ya think!). I talked to him when he was at the airport, waiting to go on Thursday. So I thought it was weird when he called me Thursday afternoon from Minneapolis to tell me, "Hey! It's snowing here!". Until I saw this picture, I had no idea what he really meant. Ha Ha! Have a good time boys!

I see that there is no live broadcast tonight. Will there be a live internet feed or do we just get live timing/scoring and wait til tomorrow to see the race?

Going good man, prob just gonna watch SX practice stream, then catch the masters golf. NASCAR race, the UFC fight and then finish w/ the F1 race late tonight. I guess if any weekend we arent gonna have live SX, this is the one lol

Helluva weekend to be a sports fan! Got a fresh case of RB in the fridge and some chicken to toss on the grill later. I even have 2 ice cold Coors Lights for later, not a drinker, but after a day like today it will be welcomed. Cool

I guess it's a good thing that the SX isn't on tonight - my DVR is only a dual-tuner; couldn't keep up with three things at once!

Dude i finally got a cable box! i hook it straight to my PC monitor (until i can afford to get a TV) so i can have it recording 2 shows and then also my PC/Media Center recording 2, so 4 at a time is nice!

When i upgrade my PC's TV Tuner, it will be able to record 4 ch. at a time! that is almost to much to even watch lol

Sure is nice to finally have true HD and Dolby 5.1 THX (i have the cable box sound going through my PC that has an awesome soundcard and 5.1 Logitech speakers) I can rattle the windows! Watching / listening to F1 is pretty amazing. Lucky i dont have close neighbors.

Glad to hear you are on an "up" Buddy. I don't have the medical problems you do but my wife does. It's like being strapped to a bomb...so I'd guess you'd say I have empathy...which is a sorry substitute for experience but as selfish as it sounds...I don't want that personal of an experience. Grilling burgers and swilling down Fosters Ale/ Boddingtons Pale Ale half/half...(I'm a drunkard). Anyhow...do what you do and remember when you can that things will be ok in the end...and if it's not ok...it's not the end.
