It sucks? Really? I think you're about to see the sport take a much harder stance on when riders can return after a concussion, and overall, I think it's a good thing. I've done interviews with guys after races where I wanted to ask, "How many of me do you see? Three? Okay, I'm the one in the middle."

We don't want our guys to have pudding for brains at the end of their careers, like some of the NFL players.

Oh, and you're right. Mike rode great last weekend.

He put in a great ride for being off the bike for a few weeks but why did he fade? Was he not comfortable or does he need to ride into shape a bit more because of the time off?

I think you answered your own question there!Wink

Whereabouts on track did he go down whilst leading that second wet 450 moto?

From what I understood he crashed in to crashed lapped rider. Track officials missed that crash(lappers) and didn`t put out yellow flags. After that I would assume there was mud everywhere- googles, handlebars ect.

I think he was just saying that it was unfortunate Mike missed those two races. He wasn't questioning why he missed them...

Yes you`re correct, but in moto2 he had a lead of 15 sec over Chad and a pace to win it, before he crashed in to lapper. That`s not fading.

Ahhh, I missed his crash, I thought he just went backwards as the moto wore on.

Oh I was just curious, if I hadn't seen the results by looking at the posts in here I'd think MA didn't do anything lol Shame he didn't win but I am stoked he's putting in the good ride/effort.

Yeah, I get that...I just think that people are going to have to get used to the fact that their guy may have to sit out a race or two on occasion.

I thought the same thing. He was most likley wating for MA to get out of the way or wreck.
"Do I go and get taken out or wait and make up spots." LOL

mike rode like a mad man in that second moto, it's too bad he blew his wad in the first 4 laps though. when they showed him later in the race he looked worn out trying to navigate that slippery track
6/13/2011 9:20am
and it was v.cool to see him up front again - shame he couldn't hold it to the end, getting away in the mud while everyone else battles through it getting roosted is definitely the favourable option hehe.

If, by chance, Roger can influence Mike's riding and smooth him out...jus' a lil' bit...as in Stop BOUNCING off of Everything and "Conserve jus' a lil' bit"...then...

We'll see an MA800 that's a threat at the end of the Moto. A serious threat.

Thanks chapmanmx you hit right on the spot what I was talking about. I agree about having to sit out because of the whole concusion thing, i'm not ignorant Mr.B. I enjoy watching Mr.800 out there killing it, I was just saying it blows because of those rounds he missed he, could've been one of our top contenders in the 450 class in points. I would love to see him win a mx championship, he works so hard for it every season and comes so close something always seem to happen. IT SUCKS!
