Ok boys and girls I burned the midnight oil gettin this baby wrapped up and the light is flickering dim.

Just wanted to say this years Motocross des Nations was one of the best EVENTS I've ever attended. The whole Colorado stay was outstanding and our crew had a blast. Our host my ol AZ buddy Bruce gave us some good tips on where to go. Thanks Bruce!

I know I must seem like I pump up this event a LOT to try to get folks to go.

All I can say is if you go to JUST ONE TIME I guarantee you will try to go again.

It is more than just a race--it's an event and really is the Olympics of MotoSport as there is nothing else like it in the World.

Hope you enjoy the slideshow and want to thank my friend Donny for some of his killer pics as well.

Couple of pointers
Hit F11 to get FULL SCREEN
Some of the Captions are long but tell part of the story, so you can hit the pause button as well.

Hope you enjoy, I'm whipped.....:

Thanks Bob and yes I need another vacation.

I think the only time we really relaxed was here and the lil Bear Saloon where we spent about 4hrs the first night, They had a really good Blues Band stop in from Texas:

None of the guys fished as we had no equipment. John had just got back from a Lake Powell/Lee's Ferry trip and was "fished out" as he put it....

this pic almost looks like hannah in the background, the way the rider posture and gear look.

Yea Camp you are correct the "coolness" of the MotoD is like no other Moto-sport in the World.

I will never miss one in the states.

Thanks Chandler boys speaking of, the other day I was on the boat ramp and I heard a "G-man!".

Wasn't sure if I should duck for cover but it turned out it was BK. lol

I think it was the first time I met him. Cool guy.

I'm bumping this for Bruce.

Great report & pics Gary! It's always fun to see the hometown thru someone else's eyes!! Mt. Evans is beautiful eh? You made it up there just in time, they closed the last 5 miles (from Summit Lake to the top) that weekend. A couple of the guys from Michigan that camped at my house stuck around & we rode some dirt on Monday then swapped wheels and did some fun SuperMoto type riding on the twisties around Evergreen and up towards Mt. Evans on Tuesday.

Those girls at the tat parlor were right next to the RiderDown booth all weekend! Guess you were a little distracted! Whistling

Thanks guys....

Yes Bruce Mt Evans was epic, but we missed it by a day, we only made it to Summit Lake but that ws just about all my buddy Jeff could take--he wsa getting a little freaked out from the road, with a sheer cliff two feet to the side. lol

Questions: That road must be closed at night correct?
How many people die going off of it each yr?

And yes I must have just missed you the TaT ho's were a distraction..... hehehhee
