Honestly I thought faith would be the only guy to touch Bogle...He definitely didn't perform like a lot of people thought he would.
Peters is not going to set the world on fire, he doesn't have the raw speed that deano/tomac/bogle have but he is so smooth it evens out. Bogle not being able to catch him for the 250 title was a pretty big deal so hopefully he can shut every one up next weekend at dilla.

Bogle- Top 10, will run top 5 for half a moto.
Peters- Top 10 would be great, will be kinda under the radar.
Joey Peters- I really believe he will do fine in 450s at dilla, he can definitely be top 20 in his first national.
Cole Thompson- Will be top 5 in his first national in Canada.

Back on topic, I think there's a few riders that could run the pace of a top 10 guy but fitness would play a pretty big roll, also these kids need to know that they have to be in shape n ready to race 9 months out of the year for sx mx n offseason testing n motoing. Alot of amateurs put in heavy time before there long spaced events they have time to be ready for, In pro racing you have to be ready pretty much 95% of the time.

I agree, that place was PACKED this year. I could see it possibly working if they ran the pro's on the Saturday before practice starts, though. That would allow 80% of the fans to leave and the am. crowd to roll in saturday evening and sunday morning. We arrived 1:00am Thursday before practice and watched it fill up. Most of the crowd arrived the saturday before.

This was my first year at Loretta's in 16 years and I couldn't believe the pace in every class. IMO, the beginner class was a waste of schedule space and could be replaced with a much more substantiated class, but other than that it was a great week. I got to watch my nephew get a moto metal for the PW class for 3rd in the 2nd moto and walk away the a 5th overall. As fun as the week was, It would be even more exciting if there was a pro national 2 days before practice starts, but thats just my opinion.

As far as who is graduating and will run at or near the front in the pro's, Bogle wasn't a standout to me. Although most seemed to be the same pace, I wouldn't call anyones pace "standout" fast. AC rode great all week, but Jordan Smith impressed me the most this week. I know this is all off topic, but they were fun to watch.

I had a chance to talk to AC but forgot to ask when he was planning on making the jump to the big leagues.. anyone know?

Chad was 22 yrs old when he first rode 250 pro in USA, let these kids pube up before you decide there future.

... but where was he racing before the USA? World stage? little different than Loretta's, dont you think? He was a pro before he came here, these are kids going pro. Just observations man, not like anything said in this thread will keep Bogle or Hill or anyone else from pulling a Tomac and winning his first pro race.

Spot on he left little old OZ racing at 19yrs,yes they could win early and straight up and i guess thats the pressure in the USA but half these top 5 or ten riders will not even have developed in the mind or body yet so i a champ could grow from someone that noone really expects. I watched Allessi and Millsaps thrach Villipotto all over the park at that age.
