Loctite?

For my subframe bolts, ok to put loctite 222 on them? I have that and 290, I know 290 is for something you don't want to take apart again, so not going to use that. I thought I need the blue loctite, but the 222 is kinda purpleish. Doesn't say much on the bottle.

I do not think I would loctite subframe bolts.

If you are unsure, just put some loctite around the bolt head where it makes contact, not on the threads. If you put it on the threads, just remember to apply the proper amount of heat when it's time to disassemble. Blue lets go about 160 degrees and red at about 350.

You need to use a torque wrench on subframe bolts. There should not be any loctite at these locations.
