We've heard Jimmy Albertson is out of Nations with injury - Team Puerto Rico are now looking at Mike Alessi as the replacement...Stay tuned - Moto magazine just twitted that.

Best wished to Jimmy but I find it hard to imagine MA800 racing unless he's been training in the sand, has a good set up, is in Europe and has his race bike and back up equipment there....... ain't gonna happen IMHO.

They are going to need someone though, other two guys are ready to go, better bringing Mike in at short notice than having the other two not taking part.

Mike was on an MCR bike... thats a zuke. He grabs his forks, shock, pegs, seat, bars, throws them in a gear bag. If by some miracle they catch a flight this evening (omg the ticket price of 5 tickets at least, MA, TA, wife, mechanic, Genova) they could hit EU sometime late tomorrow evening.
