I would like to know from him why he can't finish a single moto? Even if he is out of shape, race your way into shape regardless of his finsh position. I mean this is the same guy who almost won the Daytona SX .Maybe the jail time took all his self confidence away, or he is just burnt out?
its a a bummer, one of the greatest races I have ever seen was the 3 way battle wih Dungy and Grant, which he won.

Don't hold your breath on that interview.

When did Lawrence ever win a 3 way battle with Grant and Dungey?

The moto-media doesn't like to do many interviews, let alone with guys they dislike.

But I feel ya, a Jlaw interview is exactly what a journalist should give us.

A ha. I thought you were talikng about winning a race during the battle. That was a heck of a scrap for 3rd place. Everyone was fighting for 3rd that year with Villopoto and Townley dominating. Although Grant did sneak in the Hi Point win.

J Law can ride the sand so we got another weekend to see what's up....but who really know's at this point.

Wish I was filthy rich and could take a shot at re-building him but alas......nowaday's it seems Mitch is his only hope and Mitch ain't interested.

This is one case in which I think some hardcore journalism is in order. Cox grilled Wharton pretty good...maybe he can do better with a Lawrence interview. Then again, who cares at this point?

Is it that crazy what has happened to him? Don't know if it's the case but you could guess that from the moment his talent shown on a bike, everyone told him "you're the man!" Home schooled I am guessing, traveling all over the country to race. Not all but alot of home schooled kids lack social skills, no classmates. Combine all that with getting rich at 20years old, you can see the potential for problems. IDK if any of that pertains to J-Law, just a guess. Maybe he's burned out (insert joke) from riding and racing since he was a pre-teen who knows. Not a fan but I was on my feet when he was leading Daytona for 15 laps, cheering. Talent alone doesn't cut it these days, Unadilla showed that i.e. James. His star is waning fast though. Jason Weighlant (sp?) wrote a sentence mentioning him on RacerX to the effect that, people want to know why you are mentioning J-Law? So he wasn't gonna bother, sentence over.

Nobody, honestly. Everybody thought when he came out of prison that he would be 'changed'(myself included). But low and behold, nothing has changed. The sorry work ethic is still there, little injuries, and whatever else seems to happen to him on a race weekend. Its the world of polar opposites of Dungey and him. Worst thing is he actually has the speed to be something, but with the mind of a 8 year old so itll just be the same sad old story.
