Noticed him taking it off the peg and kicking it as if to rest it many times during Indy.

na he seen it on video of some local 50cc riders who do that trying to pull a nac nac. he kept doing that, and decided that doing a nac nac on lap 7 wasn't the cool thing to do. " title="Smile">

Thought it was to correct coming out of one of the ruts on the face........dunno about the other 4 times " title="Laughing">

...........but I bet next week at the track I see 10 kids doing it " title="Laughing"> " title="Laughing">

I mean do we really need to hang or leg out in the air 20 feet prior to landing in a corner..........thank RC for that one.........but yea, I admit it looks kinda cool. Id try it but I'd just break my leg off of something " title="Laughing"> " title="Laughing">

I've seen lots of kids do that locally, one kid would take his right foot back a little bit everytime his bike left the ground, even in the short rythm sections, actually kind of funny to watch.

Not the same thing. Reed was just sticking his foot out, Ive seen RC do it a time or two. What your talking about Stewart and Pastrana use to do a lot, its used to level out the bike.

I am thinking that he was just setting up to the outside line or rut. He may have wanted to hit a certain rut after that section and used a little leverage in the air to hold him from drifting out or manipulating the bike over a bit. Or he could have been just bored. I am.

I know a lot of guys that do that instead of tapping the brake to make your front end drop a little. It works too
